Welcome to Plum Camping at May Tree Orchard
We invite you to rest and renew yourself amidst the beauty of Kent, the garden of England. Bring your own tent, stay in our shepherd’s hut or caravan, or hire the whole May Tree Orchard space.
Camping
Get close to nature with your own tent and equipment. Come with friends or on your own, for a night or longer. We will always keep numbers camping to a 30 person maximum, so there will be plenty of space for everyone.

Shepherds Hut
Open your eyes in the morning to enjoy wonderful orchard views from your comfortable king-size bed in our hand-made shepherds hut. As well as your bed, the hut is furnished with a futon sofa, desk and chair. The sun powers the lighting and USB charge points inside. You’ll have a sheltered outdoor kitchen with 2 ring gas burner, a cooler with freezer blocks and a washing up area with sink and cold tap, for your sole use. A garden table and chairs are also provided.
Eriba caravan
Get cosy with the Eriba’s iconic retro design. Complete with vintage-style canvas awning, the caravan features a king-size bed, with indoor seating and table for two. It is possible to transform the indoor seating into a small extra single bed, suitable for a child. The Eriba has a 3-ring gas hob and a fridge, and is fully equipped for cooking. An outdoor table and 2 chairs are provided.
Exclusive Hire
Enjoy some peace and solitude, or bring a group and book the May Tree Orchard space (with or without glamping options) for you and your group for a day, a night or more (30 people max). Please get in touch for prices.
Shepherds Hut and Eriba Caravan Prices
Starting from £95 for the Eriba Caravan and £115 for the Shepherds Hut for two people staying one night. If you stay 3 nights or more, prices per night reduce to £85/£105.

~There are 3 taps in the field with mains cold water, and a sink for washing up, with solar-heated hot water available.
~The two outdoor showers can be taken warm with solar-heated hot water or refreshingly cold.
~Three composting toilets.
~Fire bowls available to hire.
~Solar powered freezer block replacement.
~Solar powered phone charging.
~Organic plums, apple juice, home-made chutney and jam and home-grown veg and herbs for sale.
