We are Natasha and Nick and we’ve been running a low-impact seasonal campsite, Plum Camping, here at May Tree Orchard, for the last 4 years. We’ve been growing apple and plum trees on this site since 2008, as part of Pear Necessities. The Soil Association have certified our orchard as organic since 2010. Two amazing independent veg boxes sell our apples and plums in London – Local Greens (South) and Growing Communities (North). If you want truly good fruit and veg, we recommend you sign up with them. We also sell our apples via Stoke Newington farmers market.
A community of volunteers visit monthly to share the work and the fun. We are deeply grateful for all the time and energy given. If you’d like to join our volunteer list, get in touch.
