There are many walks from the orchard or nearby starting points at Goudhurst or Cranbrook.
Bedgebury Pinetum: Walks, mountain bike trails (you can hire bikes there) and Go Ape.
Sissinghurst Castle
St Mary’s church, Goudhurst (you can climb the tower for a small fee and there is a great view)
Ladysden Farm: Pick your own strawberries, farm shop, cafe
Bewl water resevoir with café, bike hire, fishing, swimming and water park.
Nearest quiet beaches are at Pett Level and Winchelsea beach (about 45minutes drive) which is close to Rye with lots of antiques, art and cafes.
Historic Hastings is 35 minutes drive.
Bodiam Castle (You can park at Northiam and get a boat there ). Paddleboarding on the river Rother is great on a sunny day.
